Yes I’m still around
By · CommentsYes, I’ve been incredibly busy.
I’ve been working on something for a year and we are getting very close to launch. It’s come down to crunch time.
This reminds me of organizing a booth for Microsoft at trade show. It feels like the final week before I have to be in Las Vegas and start the setup. There are a 1,000 different things that have to be done NOW. It’s a matter of prioritization to ensure the event launches without a hitch(or at least seems to from an outside perspective).
Anyway, in the next week or two I’ll be able to give more detaiils and can’t wait.
Channel partners and why you need them

Don’t get me wrong. Each company will need a direct sales force but you have to balance a direct sales for with channel partners. There is always the classic of the direct sales “stealing” from the channel by taking a deal direct. Which of course, makes the partner wary of working with a developer.
